Happy Belated Birthday Party!

Today we had a belated 1st Birthday Party for Allie and her BFF Elena. It was a beautiful Spring day and we had a blast hanging out with friends and watching the kiddos play.

Back to reality...

Now that the party is over we can get back to our "normal" schedule which pretty much is pick Maddie up from school, put Allie down for nap, wait for Allie to wakeup, go outside and play, wait for Dad to come home. While outside today Maddie got the courage to jump off the front porch, she's pretty proud of herself.

This is the one and only feature I LOVE about this house. There are two mirrors in the bathroom. Basically it eliminates the need to hold a mirror to check the back of your hair, perfect for a gal like me. Our next bathroom will have this for sure.

Happy Birthday Allie Cat!

I can't believe my little Allie Cat is 1! Holy Cow, that was a fast year. We had a little family party, it was very low key and just perfect for us. Just when I think I've got a game plan for this little chickey she shows me whose boss. I love her to bits!
