Afternoons at the park...

Spring is really springing up around here and the weather is wonderful. We soaked up the sun last Sunday and just let the day take us away. It was so relaxing and the perfect way to wrap up the day.

A lunchdate with the Littles.

I finally took the two Littles out on a lunch date by myself. They were great, and really well behaved. However, the service was poor and the food was worse. Atleast I now know that I can take these two crazies out on the town and they wont drive me batty. Two peas in a pod these two are.

Laura Ingalls Wilder

Maddie's 1st grade class held a "Famous American Explorers and Inventors" Parade yesterday. Children dressed up like US Presidents, Inventors, Betsy Ross, and such. Maddie wanted to dress up like Anne Frank, but when I explained to her that she wasn't American, we had to go with Plan B.

Glory be looks whose 3!

Today Allie turned three, my sweet little mysterious wild child. The day started out with presents, then we went to Krispy Kreme for a late breakfast. After that we headed to My Gym so Allie could have some playtime, then it was a lunchdate at Costco. Allie is very much three and isn't really into "parties" right now so I invited a few friends to the park and we had some birthday cake. Little Miss fell asleep after lunch and was NOT very thrilled about being at the park. Everyone enjoyed cake and playtime, and about 15 minutes before we headed home, Allie made her appearance. I can't believe that she is three already. Allie is now starting to copycat words and speak a lot. She isn't a touchy feely girl and rarely wants to "cuddle". Tonight as I lay with the girls while they began to sleep Allie looked over at me, pressed her sweet face against mine, quickly kissed my nose and said, "I love you". This is the first time she has EVER said this. I think my heart tripled in size. I love my little Allie Cat to the moon and back.
