Hall Family Farm Take Two

Today was grey, gloomy, and slightly rainy. Drew took a late nap and I knew that I had to find something to keep him busy until bed time. We headed to the library, but that just wouldn't contain him. So....I just started driving south, and we ended up at Hall Family Farms again. We spent a good couple of hours there, the kids had a blast, and with the bluegrass playing in the background it made it feel like we were back in Tennessee.

Fall Festivities

It's Fall, feels like late Spring, and I love it. We headed out to Hall Family Farms today for a group playdate. Allie had her first "Hayride", she was not impressed. Poor Drew wanted to nap, but he was a good sport.

Weekend Beach Getaway

A good friend of mine called me on Thursday and offered me her beach house for the week-end. I couldn't pass it up, and we were on the road Friday morning. It was a great weekend getaway. I was a little hesitant to go, worried about 3 kids and just me on the beach. The kids did amazing, and really just played in the sand, and collected seashells. We were about 200 yards from the beach, and the house was perfect.

October Madness

October always feels like the beginning of the end of the year for me. We've started to decorate around the house for Halloween, and the stores are already selling Christmas stuff. Maddie thought it was pretty funny to see Christmas lawn ornaments for sale at Costco, next to the Halloween costumes. We are back in the "school groove" so I should be able to post more regularly. I love this time of year, just wish it would cool down. It's been in the high 80's all last week, and I'm am ready for "jacket weather".
