Sick and a Sleepover

The girls and I are still recovering from our Utah Inversion cold. Hopefully we'll feel back to normal soon. Last night Maddie had a sleepover with her cousins, good times, not alot of sleep, but fun to say the least.

We celebrated Grandpa's 95th birthday, and had a little get together. Todd made an aerial view cake of the farm. It hasn't been moved or touched in over a week, and Grandpa likes it that way.

Today Maddie had a Holiday Parade at her school. She could choose to dress up like a Holiday Tradition from a different country or dress up like a country from her heritage. So I give to you Little Miss Swede and the Parade!

The Gingerbread House

We put the gingerbread house together, and what started out as a fun Christmas activity turned into total meltdown cry fest 3000. Madde decorated and Allie ate, and ate, and ate. I didn't realize but Miss M is quite the perfectionist. Once she was finished she compared her house to the house on the box and freaked out that it did not look right! It was pure craziness and brought out of side of her that I've never noticed or seen. So...after all was said and done I took some pics and then we tossed the poor thing in the garbage. Maddie demanded it. Well...'tis the season.
