Happy Holidays

This year we decided to celebrate Hanukkah and Christmas. Since we've been members at the JCC we've really come to love the Jewish Community. Maddie has become especially interested in their culture. The kids have really enjoyed celebrating Hanukkah, lighting the menorah, and learning about Hanukkah. It's been really nice, and a great lead up to Christmas Day.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This year we surprised my family for Thanksgiving. We headed up to Williamsburg and shared Thanksgiving with my Dad's side of the family. Cousins, cousins everywhere. Depending on the person it's been between 2-20 years since I've seen them last. It was so great to be able to visit, and watch the kids play their hearts out.

Party at the Pink House

Maddie's best friend Maddy's mom is a breast cancer survivor. She works at the Pink House near Uptown. There was a 5K for breast cancer awareness last week, and a big celebration afterwards at the Pink House. We had a blast hanging at the house, enjoying some yummy bbq, and listening to a live band. Plus, the kiddos couldn't get enough of the giant bounce house.
