Winter Storm Pax and the Tooth Fairy

Today was a true "Snow Day". It snowed, and snowed, and accumulated, then stuck and snowed again! I have NEVER seen this much snow in NC, ever. The neighborhood is at a standstill, and the only movement are the very cold dogwalkers. Maddie had a snow day from school, and will have another one tomorrow. I wouldn't be surprised if she's out of school the rest of the week, because the only thing that can fix this situation is the Sun. The most exciting thing about our day, besides the white stuff was that Maddie has now lost her 7th tooth! She's stoked.

Winter Storm Pax

Winter Storm Pax touched down in Charlotte this morning. Maddie had early dismissal, and will have a Snow Day tomorrow. This time around the snow is actually pretty fluffy and fun to play with, unfortunately we no longer have any snow gear because we live in the South!

This Week

I'm kinda lagging on the blog lately, but I will definitely pick up my game now that everything is getting back to "normal". While Brandon was home we had an "early celebration" for Allie's 4th Birthday. It was really cute. She was so excited and kept walking around saying that it was her birthday. Maddie had an MI Express concert on Saturday night at Queens University. This morning after Maddie got on the bus Allie and Drew were just hanging on the couch. Then Allie looked at me and said, "Take a picture!" Well, when it comes to picture taking I don't have to be asked twice. I love these munchkins!

A Week in Review

This past week was busy busy busy. We had family come out to visit for Maddie's Baptism. It was so great to have everyone out, and Brandon and I were able to sneak away for a night away.

IT WAS BEAUTIFUL TODAY! I'm talking 72 degrees, light overcast, and sun that would casually peak through the clouds. I took the kiddos to Allie's future Pre-K Sharon Presbyterian. The playground there was amazing! The kids had a blast. The church bells even tell the time, which gave me the chance to teach her how to tell time through the chimes of the bells. It was a good day.
