Ogden Rodeo

Today we got all the Zito cousins together (small miracle)and went to the Ogden Rodeo. Aside from the 104 temp it was good ol' family fun. Thank heavens we only suffered/melted for about an hour and then it was pretty comfortable. Maddie had a blast hanging with the cousins and stuffing her face with cotton candy, corn dogs, kettle corn, etc. Good times.

St. George Visit

Well we survived the scorching temps of St. George. Each day was triple digits and it was just blazing hot to me and Maddie. We had fun hanging out with my mom and Bruce, watching the lizards and bunnies play outside.

Happy 4th of July!

First off I have to start this post with an introduction. Maddie and I decided to roadtrip to Utah. We pulled into town on Friday and tried to surprise the family. Unfortunately.... no one was home. We did get to surprise Grandma and Grandpa Z, and those faces were priceless, but best of all we were able to spend 4th of July Holiday with family. Maddie had a blast and I just love being back home.

Grandfather Mountain

Here are some pics from our outing to Grandfather Mountain, NC. There's a "mile-high" bridge that you can see amazing views from, as well as an animal habitat. We were checking out the bears and I noticed some other visitors kept throwing food at them. I'm thinking, "Don't you know your NOT suppose to feed the bears!" and just before I went over to the guy and voiced my opinion I turned around to see the "Bear Food for $1.00" sign at the food cart behind me. Phew...that could have been embarrassing. It was nice to get out in nature and be "on the mountain". Oh and as you can see by the last pic we came prepared in case any wild bear came a chargin'. Good times.
