She's 5 Already?

Today my little girl turned 5. I can't believe she's already 5. This past week has been one birthday celebration after another. We had a party for her last Saturday and a "mini-celebration" today. I love my little Maddie Moo.

Last night we had some Family Pics taken downtown. The weather was nice for about 20 minutes, then it turned freezing, and rainy so we had to cut it short. I love all these shots and can't believe how blessed I am to have such a wonderful family.

I have so often thought about doing this exact same thing. Going back to the house that I grew up in, walking around, and just remembering. I am missing Utah right now, but what I miss most is that place I called home growing up. The neighborhood, the familiarity and most of all the feeling of comfort and safety I get just being in Sandy. I want to go back.

Happy Halloween

Here are some pictures taken over the past few days. Halloween is more like a week-long celebration versus one day of fun. Maddie WAS Supergirl, a few weeks back when Brandy took her pics, but decided against that idea when it came down to the nitty gritty. Instead, she decided to be Snow White for her school Halloween Parade and a kitty for trick or treating. She did throw on the Supergirl costume for the JC Library Parade. I love how Maddie threw together cute costumes that we already had AFTER I had bought the one costume she couldn't live without. Good times. Glad it's over.
