What a difference a great photographer can make. Seriously. They say the magic is in the makeup or "smoke and mirrors", well I'm saying EDITING! Amazing the quality and overall presentation of the picture takes on with some talent and skills. Thanks again Skinny Marie! You're awesome.

Costume Charity Shootout

My friend Brandy, and a handful of photographers, were snapping pics of kiddies in their costumes for free today. All we had to do was bring the kiddies, dressed in their costumes, and some canned goods to help out with Second Harvest Food Donations. Not much to ask for right? I took some as well...I know Brandy's will be amazing, but I couldn't wait.

First Day of Pre-K

Maddie finally started Pre-K at South Side Elementary today. She is so excited...and I am too. She gets to go to school from 8:00am-1:30pm, 5 days a week! This is it people..like REAL school, and the best part is it's FREE!!!!! So of course I had to take the traditional "first day of school pic". Can you tell she's stoked. OH and she loved it. She even invited her teacher over to our house to watch "Nim's Island". Cute.

Did That Just Happen???

Today I ran for the first time in two weeks. It felt great, in fact I was smiling big (like the photo above) for the first mile. I knew from my first few steps that I was back! I planned out a little 2 mile run...just to be safe. It was short, flat, and easy. As I completed Mile 1 and proceeded to turn around to head home I misstepped and fell. Yes fell, with my left knee and both hands breaking my fall. Seriously! What just happened is all I could think, that and EVERYONE at this intersection is staring at me. So I hopped up as fast as I could and headed home. So now I have a little scraped knee, but my legs feel great and I'm going full speed ahead.

Did you know that Maddie wants to be a Fashion Designer when she grows up?

See...even my house gets trashed. But the munchkins are content and that gives me peace.

I can't get enough of these two.

All For One....

Maddie has been sick the past few days. This is what I saw when I glanced in her room. She was dressed up as Corinne from "Barbie Three Musketeers", watching "Barbie Three Musketeers". Whatever makes her feel better.
