National Anthem at Knights Baseball Game

Maddie's school choir sang the National Anthem at the Charlotte Knights Baseball game tonight. It was awesome, and the weather was amazing. I think she had more fun rolling down the grass hill and chasing after her friends after the performance.

Sharon Elementary Fun Friday

Every year Sharon Elementary's PTA hosts "Fun Friday" for the students, faculty and parents of Sharon Elementary. It's usually outside, loud music, lots of bounce houses, a carnival ride or two, and lots of free booths for kids to do activities. We've gone every year that Maddie's been at Sharon and she totally looks forward to it every year. In fact, she told me today that "Fun Friday" is the best day of the school year. Tonight's event did not disappoint.

Allie was so excited to show me what she just taught herself. She is her father's daughter.
