Cello Lessons! Day One.

Maddie had her first day of cello lessons today. We decided that she could begin playing an instrument this year and she chose the cello. Not the most conventional instrument, but I am pretty stoked and so is she! The first lesson went great, even considering it was ALL of us packed into her little music room space. Her teacher is amazing, patient, and super sweet to Maddie. Here's to a new adventure.

Cooling off at the JCC

Today we went to the JCC for some pool time. My RS President invited me, the kiddos, and three young RS members to join her. It was great because the four of them enjoyed playing/splashing with Maddie and Allie. Drew slept the entire time, and I followed Allie from the kiddie pool to the splash pad about a million times. I haven't ventured out to take all three of them to the pool myself since Maddie can't swim, and Allie prefers to walk around the pool, then be in it. But it was two hours of bliss for my girls and I'll take that however I can get it.
